About this role
The Dermatology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care for patients with acute and chronic dermatologic conditions, collaborating with dermatologists to perform skin assessments, diagnoses, and procedures (including biopsies and cosmetic treatments), educate patients, and manage treatment plans within an EHR. Responsibilities include dermatology evaluations, diagnosing and managing acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, infections, and hair/nail disorders; performing procedures and cosmetic treatments; ordering/interpret testing; prescribing medications; patient education; documentation in EHR; and collaboration on complex cases.
