About this role
The Addiction Medicine Social Worker provides comprehensive social work services to patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions, conducting psychosocial assessments, developing and implementing patient-centered treatment plans, providing clinical interventions (e.g., individual counseling with motivational interviewing or CBT), connecting patients to community and longitudinal care, advocating for patients and the recovery community, educating patients and professionals about substance use disorders, and coordinating with community partners to facilitate referrals.
