About this role
The Faculty Physician provides quality medical care in a clinical setting for Wayne Health Dermatology, with responsibilities including assisting management in policy development. The Department seeks BE/BC dermatologists for full-time positions in the metro Detroit area, with interests in clinical care (skin of color, dermatologic surgery, or pediatric dermatology). Wayne Health Dermatology operates outpatient facilities in Troy, Monroe, Dearborn, and Detroit metro area, and supports inpatient services for Detroit Medical Center. The program reports substantial outpatient visits and inpatient activity and emphasizes teaching dermatology residents and medical students, with a clinical rotation for 3rd/4th-year medical students and non-dermatology residents. Education/Certifications include MD or DO license and board eligibility or certification in Dermatology. A competitive salary with bonus and full benefits is offered.
