About this role
The Medical Assistant performs basic direct patient care activities, such as lab tests, treatments, and medication/immunization administration under the direction of the Nurse and/or physician, including clerical/quality control/ performance improvement duties, scheduling surgeries/procedures/testing, preparing charts and obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, preparing exam rooms and stocking supplies; requires previous outpatient office experience and Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
