About this role
The NP/PA operates as established medical authority through collaborative care with physicians; responsibilities include taking patient histories, performing physical exams, formulating treatment plans, coordinating routine diagnostic procedures, writing orders, taking call with physician, assisting in the operating room, helping entire team with duties, triaging calls, following up postoperatively, and meeting eligibility and licensing requirements for PA-C/NP along with applicable certifications and hospital privileges.
