About this role
Responsible for duties in support of departmental efficiencies including scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission/ admission, reception and discharge; obtain complete/accurate patient demographics; educate patients on financial liabilities; perform cash handling and secured payment entry; obtain insurance verification/authorizations; may assist with scheduling post-discharge care; capable of working in at least two Patient Access service areas including Emergency Department; requires high school diploma/ GED and 0–1 year in customer service or related experience; some college coursework preferred.
