About this role
Treats diseases of the lungs and airways; greater than 50% of the physician's time is spent in a critical or intensive care setting; diagnoses and treats conditions such as cancer, pneumonia, pleurisy, asthma, occupational diseases, bronchitis, sleep disorders, emphysema and other complex lung disorders; interviews patients, performs/ interprets diagnostic tests, and designs treatment plans; work typically in clinical/office environment.
