About this role
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for initiating and supporting work efforts that maximize quality, safety, and services in defined perioperative specialties; serves as the primary clinical resource to the OR team to provide quality nursing care; collaborates with physicians and staff to facilitate perioperative services; practices professional nursing in accordance with ANA Code of Ethics; requires 4 years OR RN experience and 1 year nursing leadership experience; licenses/certifications include Registered Nurse in DC (Required) and BLS (Required); CNOR preferred; duties include planning, organizing, directing the specialty service, maintaining surgeon preference cards, coordinating supplies and equipment, coordinating new product evaluations, and ensuring staff education and readiness in collaboration with the perioperative team and Education Team.
