The brief

The SUDS Social Worker provides psychotherapeutic services to Veterans admitted for substance use and co-occurring disorder rehabilitation, conducts interviews and psychosocial assessments for treatment planning, works as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, utilizes evidence-based treatments and a range of modalities, leads and participates in group and individual therapy, completes intake and assessment, develops treatment plans, and provides emergency care and referrals as needed within outpatient substance use treatment.
