The brief

Responsible for designing, evaluation and supervising exercise program for Cardiac Rehab patients and Bridge to Wellness participants in consultation with the Medical Director for Cardiac Rehab patients in accordance with evidence-based training principles and within the limits of the patient's medical diagnosis; duties include updating exercise prescriptions weekly, monitoring cardiac rehab sessions and recording pertinent data, monitoring EKG and blood pressure during therapy, coordinating with the care team, maintaining equipment, providing educational lectures, developing discharge plans for home exercise programs, and instructing patients on safe use of equipment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or related field (Master’s preferred); ACSM certification within 1 year of hire; BCLS certification; minimum two years’ experience in cardiac rehab preferred; location Sanford, NC 27330, United States; Job ID 2026-20239; Category Clinical Support; Industry Healthcare / Health Services.
