About this role
The Advanced Practice Providers (APP), PA or APRN including NP, CNS, or PA, work in collaboration with the physician in the hospital-based inpatient setting, primarily in the Intensive Care Unit or as a surgery first assist in a variety of specialties; performs invasive procedures with a high level of independent clinical decision-making; works under direction and in consultation with physician and may perform services authorized by supervising/collaborating physician as part of the physician's normal course of practice; must have a SA or SCA with a physician; practices within state laws and delineation of privileges.
